New Years Eve at Noon – A Celebration Under the Sea
December 31, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
‘Tis the sea-son! Join us from 10 am to 2 pm for our annual New Year’s at Noon festivities and celebrate the new year “under the sea” at a time both kids and adults can appreciate! Enjoy live entertainment, sea-themed science and crafts, and a balloon drop at 12 pm sharp! 🌊🎈
Main Stage Entertainment:
10-10:45 am | Lightning Jack will transport families under the sea with his steel drum performance. Listen to songs 🎶 like “Kiss the Girl,” “Under the Sea,” “Zippity Do Dah,” “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” and “Bear Necessities”
11:15-11:45 am | Ocean zones for kids and even a live mermaid! Get your fins ready as you learn about the layers of the ocean.
11:45 am-12:45 pm | Evan and Amanda LeFloch from Smallfish Adventures will scuba into the ocean to ring in Noon Year’s with all of our sea creatures. Count down to the legendary Great Explorations balloon…or should we say “bubble” drop!
Throughout the event, All Kids All Parties will also be making ocean animals out of balloons! Take home a balloon twist starfish, turtle, fish, octopus or crab.
Members: $5 per person | Non-members: $15 per person
Adults and children must purchase a ticket to the event. Children under the age of 12 months will be admitted free of charge. Please register in advance as this event is expected to sell out!
*Please note that the museum will only be open for our ticketed New Year’s Eve at Noon celebration. The museum will re-open for regular admission on January 2.*
