World Lizard Day
August 14, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
It’s time to party like a reptile! Join us for World Lizard Day as we shine the spotlight on our scaly superstars. From colorful geckos to curious skinks, this special day is all about the amazing lizards that call Great Explorations home.
Meet our resident lizards up close, learn what makes them so unique, and enjoy lizard-themed crafts, games, and interactive activities throughout the museum. Whether they’re climbing, basking, or just giving you that signature lizard stare, these creatures are full of surprises!
Don’t miss this chance to go wild for reptiles.
Included with museum admission.
