Greet visitors and help find the perfect play space to getting your groove on during one of our famous dance parties. Work side by side with our gallery educators to make science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) come alive through our exciting educational programs, volunteers are an important part of the Great Ex team. The NEW Augmented Reality Sandbox
We have a new exhibit! The 3D camera scans the topography of the surface of the sand, and through the projector, turns the surface of the sand into a dynamic world. The lower spots appear covered with water, with the higher elevations becoming mountains. It also updates in real-time. If you dig a pond, it will fill with water, if you pile up a new ridge, it becomes a mountain!
